New fund raising project discussed

SHARE SCHEME NEWS
A new fund raising project to coincide with the redevelopment of the Memorial Stadium and which would replace the current Share Scheme was again discussed by the committee recently. We would like to hear your views and ideas on this exciting new project. Our aim for this year is to continue to promote the scheme to financially support our football club whilst increasing the share ownership of the Supporters Club and with that to influence the board on fan related issues. We are always interested in your views so please do not hesitate to contact us. One general aim is to reach £1m raised by the 10th anniversary of the scheme in December 2012. This is achievable but we will need to increase our membership
We would also be very interested to hear from anyone who would like to get involved with helping the share scheme committee particularly anyone with IT skills that could help develop our database.
More information on the scheme can be found here.
If you would like to join or introduce someone else please contact Clare McDonagh at Pirate Leisure on (0117) 952 4001 [email protected]
The current membership stands at 215 bronze, 58 silver, 6 gold, 2 platinum, giving a total of 281. Contributions received totalled £4,009 from the 281 members.
Cumulative members’ contributions received from commencement of the Scheme totalled £882,866. To date it gives the Supporters Club a total holding of 390,920 shares and a percentage holding of 7.87% in the Football Club.
