Lincoln ticket sales suspended – 8th May
January 1, 2000
Rovers have this afternoon suspended all sales for Saturday’s game against Lincoln City – other than for season ticket holders.
Another massive day of trade at Pirate Leisure at the Memorial Stadium and the Supporters Club shop in Kingswood has seen virtually all availability for the fixture snapped up.
For the second day running fans were waiting outside of the doors of Pirate Leisure well ahead of the shop opening, and once again at busy times some supporters had to wait behind dozens of others before being served.
All season ticket holders will continue to have their seats and terrace tickets reserved until Wednesday afternoon at 5pm, after which, unclaimed places will be released for sale.
It means season ticket holders who have yet to sort out their ticket for the match need to do so either today or at some point tomorrow in order to avoid the disappointment of missing out.
Season ticket holders will need to present Voucher J when purchasing their ticket for the game.
On Thursday morning, all places unclaimed by season ticket holders will go on general sale on a first-come first-served basis.
There will still be a fairly large number of tickets available at this point, although it is expected that come the end of Thursday the game will be a virtual sell-out.
There will be no ticket sales for the fixture on Saturday, the day of the game.
If there are any tickets left in large enough quantities in certain areas of the ground, they will be made available online on Thursday evening or Friday during the day.
Telephone orders (season ticket holders only on Tuesday and Wednesday) can be made throughout the week on 0117 9096648, although lines are expected to be very busy and it might not be possible to take all calls.
Fans ordering over the phone will have their tickets held for collection at the matchday ticket office on the day of the game.
