Late Night Shopping A Roaring Success
December 16, 2005
The late night Christmas opening at Pirate Leisure last night, which coincided with the Young Pirates Christmas Party, proved to be a roaring success, with many parents attending the Young Pirates Christmas party and Gasheads dropping by keeping the shop busy until 9pm. With wine and mince pies on offer to the shoppers on the night, it certainly had a Christmas feel to it too.
Pink hats have proved to be a success with both the baseball cap and woolly hats selling out in just a few days. We will be ordering more, together with a new Rovers pink scarf so watch out for more details. Other fast selling items this Christmas have been the 2006 calendar and the new Rovers beach towel, so if you still have Christmas shopping to do, get down to Pirate Leisure or 199 while stocks last. Special thanks must go to Kay and Zoe who were behind the counter for the evening for their second long day this week after a late night Tuesday after the Vale match.
For those not going to the match against Torquay tomorrow another Rovers Christmas shopping opportunity presents itself as 199 at Kingswood will be open from 9am until 4pm tomorrow. Maybe a good opportunity for partners to get those goodies while he’s at the match and still be able to surprise him Christmas day.
