Once again, the Christmas period sees us busy in the league over the next eight days with four matches that will test the resolve and fitness of our squad. As a reminder, here they are with kick off times, some differing from that you may be expecting.

  • Boxing Day            Rovers v Shrewsbury  K.O. 3PM
  • Weds 28th Dec    Mansfield v Rovers      K.O. 7.45PM
  • New Year’s Eve    Rovers v Wycombe Wanderers  K.O. 1.30PM
  • Mon 2nd Jan         Rushden and Diamonds v Rovers  K.O. 3PM

Thankyou for your continued unswerving support for the club again this year.

Once again it has been a tough start to the season that has seen yet another manager go out the door followed by another period of uncertainty.

We would like to thank Paul Trollope and John Anderson for steadying the ship during the interim period until the final decision was made as to the new management structure of the club. As we all know, John has undergone a knee operation recently and is making his way back to fitness and we wish him well.

Despite a disappointing loss on Saturday, it looks as if we may be on the cusp of better times at the club on the pitch and of course Christmas will be an important time that may shape the rest of our season. We all have family commitments of course but we hope to see a good number on Boxing Day and New Years Eve.

Finally, we hope you get all you wished for the Christmas, here’s to the New Year and a run at the play offs.
