We Need You!

With the lead up to Christmas being very busy with the Supporters Club AGM and brisk Christmas shopping in all our outlets, the festive break was well received. Having barely got used to being back at work after the break, we were straight back into action with the 50th anniversary of the 4-0 victory over the Busby Babes evening.

The evening was well received by those who attended and the consensus of opinion was that it would be great to see similar events of this type being held again in the future, maybe as a regular event. All sections of the committee liased well to make this evening the success it was, but inevitably we keep finding ourselves stretched in our bid to perform all our roles.

We need help, and it could be that  you might be the people we are looking for. We need all sorts of help, from programme selling right up to elected (initially co-opted) officers to serve on the committee, or even sub committees.

We do our level best to keep offering the service we do, so if  you can commit any level of help to us, be it on a match day or on the committee or one of the sub committees, please get in touch.

The Executive committee is split into 5 business committees, having recently ratified the Share Scheme sub committee at the AGM in December. Every sub committee could use some help and our Match Day and Commercial sub committees are currently being just looked after while we search for suitable applicants to chair them. It is vital that we make both of these areas of our business more profitbale and efficient as soon as possible, and to do that we need more help.

Additionally, we need more writers for this web site. We have people writing but it is on a casual basis which is why there may occassionally be no new fans articles. If you fancy yourself as a writer, maybe reporting on a match or our recent progress or other event that you may feel is of interest to Gasheads, please get in touch using the link at the bottom of the article.

If you would like to put yourself forward to serve on the committee or just help out, please get in touch and let us know how you feel you can help and what you can commit to.
