Branch Lines

December 9, 2012

MEMBERS ARE REMINDED THAT THAT TWO OF OUR BRANCHES ARE BOOKED IN FOR MATCH SPONSORSHIPS LATER IN THE SEASON.

Norton Radstock members have taken the Rochdale game on March 16th and are selling raffle tickets for one of four places for the pre match hospitality lunch. The draw will take place in January so there is still time to purchase your ticket.

Tickets will be sold to members attending a meeting night at the Crown in Clapton near Midsomer Norton or on a branch organised away travel day. Alternatively, if you are not successful in the draw, members can pay £45 per person (including VAT) for the experience which includes a three course carvery meal, complimentary match day programme, seat in the DriBuild stand, half time refreshments and a licensed bar. Members will also help to choose the Rovers Man of the Match Award for the game.

Weston super Mare branch will also be sponsoring a match in April, details of the arrangements to be announced. Well before then there is Christmas at the seaside. The Branch Christmas Meal has been organised for Saturday 22nd December at 8.30pm. Members received a menu and booking form along with the recent AGM notice. A small deposit will secure your booking with the full balance due in early December. Please book now to enjoy this very popular annual event. Also not to miss is the annual Race Night which will again be held on Boxing night again at the Windsor. The December meet up at Gloster Gas will take place at the Double Gloucester, Cheltenham Road, Longlevens as usual.

Gloster Gas will meet on the following dates during the remainder of the season.  All meetings will be at The Double Gloucester in Longlevens and start at 7.45.  Everybody is welcome to come along for a beer and an informal chat about all things Gas (including lift sharing to home and away games).  Win, lose or draw we always have a good night so why not come along and say hello.  A warm welcome guaranteed.
