May 7, 2014

The Bristol Rovers Supporters Club Executive Committee held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday 6th May 2014.  In addition to the agreed agenda items we spent a considerable time discussing, on behalf of the membership, the appropriate response of the supporters club committee and the elected BRSC directors on the BRFC board to our unprecedented relegation.

The BRSC Executive Committee meeting on the 6th of May was attended by all the elected members, including the two directors representing BRSC on the board of the football club. It was unanimously agreed at this meeting that we would seek to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting of the supporters club membership as soon as is practicable. The BRSC Executive Committee have arranged to meet again very shortly to detail our reasons for such a meeting and to clarify the protocols for such a meeting. It was decided that we would invite the Chair of the football club and/or other directors as well as the manager of the first team to this meeting.

As soon as a definitive date, time and venue have been agreed we will contact the supporters club membership with the relevant details, through the Bristol Rovers Supporters Club website. In the meantime, the BRSC Executive Committee members are committed to listening to the legitimate concerns of the membership and will continue to welcome any helpful, constructive and considered feedback.
