It’s packed with many features you won’t have seen on our website.

Manager Darrell Clarke pens his own notes, and this week we catch up with youth and reserve team match reports as well as looking back to the amazing support for our campaign to show racism the red card.

Tom Parkes and Adam Cunnington are interviewed for this issue, so check out what Tom has to say about Tuesday night’s game at Alfreton and what Adam told us just a couple of days before his recall by Cambridge United.

The featured player in this issue’s centre spread is Tom Lockyer, who is also a very enthusiastic and talented golfer.

There’s news from the Supporters Club, Young Pirates, and Helpline, while the Fanzone page gives all of you an opportunity to participate, so if you have a birthday or anniversary or anything else you would like us to mention in the next issue, then please get in touch.

In our history section Stephen Byrne looks back, in the first of a three part article, on Rovers in the First World War.

If you are able to add anything, by way of information or photos to illustrate these articles, please get in touch.

As well as the Victorian Rovers feature, the history pages feature season 1986/87 and also looks at programmes from that season as well as a look at what we were listening to back then.

In addition, you can discover what football supporters were reading back in 1972 and fast forward to season 1994/95 as Rovers went on a journey that would eventually lead to Wembley.

There’s an eclectic mix of articles from a wide range of contributors, all of them Rovers supporters, so if you haven’t previously purchased a matchday programme when you’ve come to a game, try it tomorrow – you might be pleasantly surprised!
