Truro City have received a boost ahead of their trip to Hitchin Town on Saturday 17th January.


Left back Danny Greenslade, who was thought to have played his last game for the club against Corby Town after being recalled by Bristol Rovers, will now be on loan with City for the rest of the season.

Truro Boss, Steve Tully, said he was delighted that Greenslade would now be at Truro until the end of the season.


“He is a good player, who has done well for us and the rest of the players like him. Bristol Rovers have offered him another year’s contract and he wants to play football.”

Danny had an eventful game against Hitchin Town on Saturday 17th January.

Wearing the number 2 shirt now he is credited with the Assist for the Shane White equaliser in the 50th minute.

He was also booked in the 53rd minute but he will have enjoyed Barry Hayles winner in the 58th minute as Truro won 2-1 away..
