Well Done Boys

Very well done to the Under 18 boys for finishing the first half of the Youth League programme with a ten game unbeaten run following a slow settling down period at the start to the season. The recovery has been excellent. The run culminated in a fine 3-0 win over Portsmouth at the Mem on Saturday morning with the boys playing good football and taking their goals well. Our young keeper played his part with a fine penalty save and a clean sheet. The boys now move on to take on clubs from London and the South East as well as our South West counterparts.

Alan Walsh and his Bristol Rovers young guns work very hard on the football side in day to day training and in competitive League and Cup matches. Alan also prepares the youngsters to represent the Football Club in an exemplary manner off the pitch.

The Bristol Rovers Academy is a part of the Football Club that deserves all of our help and support. Weston-super-Mare Gas have been great supporters of our boys over the years and continue to do so. Many thanks again to Wilf and all of our members down at Weston. BRSC volunteers work so hard on match days to sell a fantastic amount of 50/50 half time draw tickets. Thank you to all for purchasing the tickets and congratulations to all of the winners.

Bristol Rovers Supporters Club; proud to be the main sponsors of the Bristol Rovers Youth Academy.
