The Sky Bet Football League Twitter and Facebook accounts have been busy.
Supporters have suggested THREE League Two players that could be bargain Summer signings.
Gary Roberts – Portsmouth
After taking the Portsmouth job, Paul Cook did not take long to bring Gary Roberts with him from Chesterfield.
The attacking midfielder was integral for him with the Spireites and Cook’s determination to snap him up so quickly is an indication of the quality that Roberts possesses.
The 31-year-old scored eight times in Sky Bet League 1 last season with Chesterfield, and he should be one of the most creative talents in League 2 this year.
Jon Stead – Notts County
Notts County are another side who have had a busy summer, with Ricardo Moniz making wholesale changes following the Magpies’ relegation to Sky Bet League 2.
One of the star signings is Stead, who scored 13 goals for Bradford City last term. His knack for goalscoring in the Football League is there for all see, and he could prove key to the Magpies’ revival this term.
Barry Corr – Cambridge United
Barry Corr is one of numerous new faces at the R Costings Abbey Stadium ahead of the 2015/16 Sky Bet League 2 campaign, and he brings a wealth of experience with him.
After five years at Southend United, culminating in Play-Off promotion last season, the Irish striker felt the time was right to move on, and he is now setting his sights on replicating that success with the U’s.
