The manager talks about his latest squad addition.

Gary Brabin brought in striker Nathan Blissett at the end of last week on loan from Bristol Rovers.

The six foot five inch forward was handed his debut as a 55th minute substitute against Boreham Wood at Prenton Park but the manager felt that his side used him as a target a bit too often.

He said, “Nathan Blissett has come in and gives us a different dimension. I felt we bombarded him with long balls when he came on and that’s not what we want to do.

“He has got a bit of pace, but we still want to pass the ball and, as well as him being a threat in the air, we want him to get in behind teams and get crosses into the box to him.”

Very strange to see Bristol Rovers on-loan strikers on the team sheet for both teams.
