The BRFC Academy sides have settled into the new season now after the busy schedule of pre-season.

All the BRFC Academy sides played on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2015.

The Under 16 squad gave a below par performance against a competitive Newport County side.

This performance was out of character given their good form during pre-season.

Some of these players will need to show an improvement when the competitive league games begin.

The Under 9 to Under 15 teams played games against Oxford United.

Didn’t they do well?

Matches against Oxford United are always a competitive challenge for the BRFC Academy teams.

The stand out performances was from the Under 9 side who produced a fine footballing display.

The Under 13 group also produced a good display in line with the Academy philosophy.
