Oxford United have a decent set up and a good side so it was always going to be a genuine test.

The players managed to follow up last weeks excellent attacking performance against Yeovil Town.

This was an equally impressive all round display by the Under 16 squad which was very pleasing.

They defended resolutely as a group and managed to manufacture some good counter attacking opportunities.

Newman Ball nodded home from close range after a well worked move.

The Under 9 to Under 14 teams had fixtures against Exeter City over the weekend.

Games against the Grecians often produce entertaining fixtures across the board.

Probably, the outstanding performance of the weekend was from the Under 14 side.

They produced some fine attacking play to score some excellent goals.

The goals came from Kieran Phillips, Callum Eastwood, Max Wilding and a cracker from Ben Jones.

Another notable and good performance came from the Under 10 side.

The Under 10 side gave an excellent display of attacking football and scored some terrific goals in the process.
