Bristol Rovers Academy Under-18 side play Portsmouth in the FA Youth Cup Second Round.

Alan Walsh and his squad will be delighted to see supporters on the night.

The winners of this fixture have a HOME tie against Manchester City in Round Three.

The fixture is scheduled for the Memorial Stadium on Tuesday 17th November 2015.

The winners will play the Runners-Up from last season’s FA Youth Cup, The Mancunian Citizens.

In the Premier Academy League, the Blues are currently second behind The Toffees from the Pool.

There is a slight difference between the facilities of the various Blues.

Manchester City’s Under 18 Academy side have lost just one of their 14 league games this season.

This 2nd round tie against the “Mikey Harris Boys” is due to begin at 7pm.

The two sides last met on the opening day of the season, Saturday August 8th 2015.

On that day it was 1-1, with the Pompey equaliser arriving very late into added time.

Pompey are currently sixth in the Youth Alliance South West League with 16 points from 12 games.

Bristol Rovers are seventh with the same points total but an inferior goal difference.

Both teams have lost their last four league fixtures so a competitive match is possible.

However, if the Pompey youth side repeat their first round form it may be a tricky encounter.

In the first round Portsmouth beat league leaders Plymouth Argyle 3-0.
