Fans 4 Life

February 17, 2016

Bristol Rovers Fans4Life programme is now operating.

The Fans4Life programme helps sports fans who do little exercise to lead a more healthy lifestyle.

Research has shown that taking part in this programme could add 6 seasons to a fan’s life.

The Fans4Life project aims to improve the health and well-being of the people of the region.

It uses a 10 week exercise and education programme to target sports fans living in the South West.

These participants will be featured in the BBC Radio Bristol Breakfast Show with Emma Britton in the very near future.

All exercise sessions will be led by qualified coaches and take place at venues across the city.

The programme is open to all men who do very little exercise regardless of club or sport allegiance.

We are aiming to recruit participants from across the Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

This includes fans from both Bristol Football Clubs, Bristol Rugby, GCC and any fan of sport.

The programme is supported by both Bristol and South Gloucestershire Councils.

It also has the backing of NHS Bristol and the University of Gloucestershire.
