Bristol Rovers have today completed the loan signing of Swansea City striker Oliver McBurnie.
He has signed a deal at The Memorial Stadium for the remainder of the season.
Darrell Clarke said; “I’m delighted to be able to bring Oliver to the club and wish him every success.
“He is a young player who has had experience of League Two while with Newport County.
“He was recalled early from that spell in order so that he could train with Swansea’s first team squad.
It’s really pleasing that they have allowed him to join us on loan until the end of the season.
The 20 year old graduated through the ranks at Bradford City.
He made 15 league appearances for The Bantams before signing for Swansea in a three year deal.
Last season he spent time on loan with Conference outfit Chester City.
He scored their goal when they lost 5-1 at The Memorial Stadium last April.
On loan to Newport County earlier this season, he scored a 23 minute hat trick on his debut.
The deal is subject to international clearance.
Bristol Rovers hope the Scottish Under 21 international will be available for AFC Wimbledon.
