Last meeting between the sides :-
A brace for Zak Ansah helped Newport County record only their 3rd win of the season at the end of October when they won 4-1.
After beating Wycombe Wanderers earlier that week the victory for Newport County meant that they lifted themselves out of the relegation zone.
This meant Dagenham and Redbridge were in the drop zone and was the second game in a run of ten unbeaten for the Exiles.
