BRFC Youngsters

March 22, 2016

On Saturday 19th March 2016, the BRFC Academy Under 16 squad hosted Swindon Town.

Of the sides played this season, Swindon Town proved to be one of the strongest teams.

This meant that it proved to be a very good game of football played at a high tempo.

Many of the current BRFC Academy Under 15 squad were also involved in the game.

This chance to play at a level above is a valuable learning experience for all those involved.

The youngsters were unlucky not to score more goals but still played some quality football at times.

Alfie Clarke scored a cracking free-kick for the BRFC Academy team.

On Sunday 20th March 2016 the Under 9 through to Under 15 teams had fixtures against Oxford United.

Games against Oxford United are always tough encounters and hard fought affairs.

In this fixture Tom Mehew scored from the penalty spot.

Another superb all round attacking performance came from the BRFC Academy Under 11 players.
