BRSC General Knowledge Quiz.
This was the second quiz held to raise money towards the Bristol Rovers Youth Academy’s teams.
It will be used to offset some of the costs involved in attending an end of season tournament in Rotterdam.
The Academy entered a team on the evening and were welcomed warmly by the others.
The Academy team included Jonny Henderson, Academy Manager, Paul Hughes, Lead Foundation Phase Coach, Molly Dursley, Lead Sports Therapist, Nikki Parker, Academy Operations Manager and Lewis Hughes, Academy Media Intern.
Hopefully, the donation of £1,667 from The Supporters Club towards their trip cheered them up.
This sum included the Exeter match’s 50/50 takings and not known to The Academy until the night of the quiz.
The quiz tested knowledge of Arts and Crafts, the year 2015, and four letter words beginning with G.
It also included the usual rounds of General Knowledge, Sport, Trivia and Entertainment.
The questions will appear over the coming weeks on the Supporters Club web-site.

The Criminal Elements finished third with 71 out of a possible 110 points.
A renamed Screen Soccer team called “Where’s Dave?” (the missing Mr Rogers) came second with 76 points.
The Committee of Public Safety once again topped the pile with 81 points.
Their joker brought them 20 points in round 8 putting them in the lead for the first time on the night.
The Committee donated their winnings for the second quiz running to the Rovers Academy.
A wonderful gesture of support.
People appear to try to avoid collecting the lesser prizes which included a pair of hotel freebie slippers.
