The Football League Family Excellence Award winners for the 2015/16 season.
The Award recognises the outstanding experience provided by clubs for young fans and families.
A total of 44 clubs from across the three divisions of The Football League have achieved the Award for 2016.
The number of juniors and families attending matches around the country is increasing.
The objective of the Award is to recognise those who have attracted more families and young fans to matches.
Six clubs have secured the Award in every year they have been eligible to receive it:-
Doncaster Rovers, Huddersfield Town, Ipswich Town, Milton Keynes Dons, Cardiff City and Reading.
Wigan Athletic have been awarded the accolade for the first time.
The Award recipients are decided by an independent assessment using real families during the 2015/16 season.
Clubs receiving the Award in 2016:-
AFC Wimbledon, Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Bristol City, Cardiff City, Carlisle United, Charlton Athletic, Chesterfield, Colchester United, Coventry City, Crewe Alexandra, Derby County, Doncaster Rovers, Exeter City, Fulham, Gillingham, Huddersfield Town, Ipswich Town, Leeds United, Luton Town, Middlesbrough, Millwall, Milton Keynes Dons, Northampton Town, Nottingham Forest, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Oxford United, Peterborough United, Plymouth Argyle, Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers, Reading, Rotherham United, Scunthorpe United, Sheffield United, Southend United, Stevenage, Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wycombe Wanderers.
This is an area that Bristol Rovers Football Club and BRSC might consider making a greater priority in the future.
