Dave Harper departs as David Parker takes over.

Bristol Rovers Safety Officer Dave Harper has now relinquished his post after 18 years.

Dave Harper has now been officially replaced by another ex-police officer, David Parker.

Dave Harper’s position as Safety Officer will be filled by Mr David Parker, with effect from 1st July 2016.

Mr Parker retired from his position as a Chief Inspector with the Thames Valley Police recently.

David Parker has the Level 4 NVQ in Stadium Safety as well as experience as a Police Security Coordinator.

He has been awarded a PTTLS qualification to complement previous experience as the TVP Training Manager.

He has public order command experience at various events; including a brief spell at the Madejski Stadium.

David Parker has been working behind the scenes at BRFC since 1st April 2016 and is well-prepared for his role.

Bristol Rovers FC wish Dave Harper all the best for the future.

Dave Harper will remain with Bristol Rovers FC for the moment and will be involved in other duties.
