Head of Academy Coaching
Bristol Rovers FC are looking to expand the Academy Management Team by recruiting a full time Head of Coaching to manage and monitor the implementation and development of the coaching programme as well as overseeing the development and delivery of the coaching staff in line with the Coach Competency Framework.
Successful applicants will report directly to the Academy Manager and will be responsible for the delivery of the Academy coaching programme in line with the Academy philosophy.
We are looking for an individual with exceptional and extensive coach development and mentoring experience who possesses excellent inter-personal skills.
They will also be able to show that they are capable of developing and delivering an innovative coaching curriculum to challenge and develop the players within the Academy, as well as demonstrating that they understand the needs of the modern coach and young player in terms of pedagogy and coaching methodology.
The roles involve working a combination of daytime, evenings and weekends to undertake the role fully.
Remuneration for the role will be circa £25,000 per annum based on experience.
Applicants will only be considered if they hold a minimum of UEFA ‘A’ coaching qualification (essential), the FA Mod 3 Youth Award (desirable), as well as having demonstrable experience of working within a coach developer/mentor role.
