Bristol Rovers FC are looking to expand their player recruitment network by recruiting a part time Head of Pre-Academy Recruitment to lead on the implementation of a recruitment strategy to ensure that BRFC Academy are able to recruit the best local talented players within the 6-8 age ranges.

Successful applicants will report directly to the Head of Academy Recruitment and the Lead Pre-Academy Phase Coach, and will be responsible for the recruitment of players in line with the Academy philosophy and acting as a parent liaison for players within this phase.

We are looking for an individual with extensive knowledge of local football and excellent interpersonal skills.

They will also be able to show that they are capable of meeting the needs of young player and their families in the transition into Academy football.

The role involves working some evenings (Tuesday and Fridays) and weekends to undertake the role fully.

There will also be an expectation to complete administration tasks such as player monitoring reports and scouting logs (time commitment is flexible for this element).

Remuneration for the role will be circa £4,000 per annum paid pro-rata on a fortnightly basis.

Experience of working within a professional football environment in a similar capacity as well as having previous coaching experience would be advantageous.

Applicants will also need to be locally based (living within 30 minutes of the Bristol area).
