Scunthorpe United supporters with musical tastes will be busy tweeting this season.
They are being given the chance to shape the matchday atmosphere at home games.
This all starts with the friendly against Hull City on Saturday 23rd July 2016.
Two players will select a list of three songs for the period of the players warm-up.
Through Twitter, SUFC fans can vote for the list to be played in the run-up to the game.
Whichever list wins the public twitter vote will then be played on matchday.
In addition, the day before every home game SUFC fans will be asked for their matchday suggestions.
One condition insisted upon is that they want big anthems to get the blood pumping.
This is an attempt to get The Glanford Park Stadium rocking for home matches.
The real test will be the fixture against Bristol Rovers on Saturday 6th August 2016.
These steps come after taking on board feedback from the SUFC 2016 summer survey.
Is this a good idea that might work with Bristol Rovers?
