Swansea City are set to bring a strong side to The Memorial Stadium.
The Swans boss Francesco Guidolin has fielded mix-and-match line-ups so far in pre-season.
This pattern was used in the club’s pre-season friendlies on their tour of America.
Most players played only 45 minutes against Charlotte Independence and Richmond Kickers.
But Guidolin will give some senior players an extended spell against The Pirates.
Jefferson Montero has returned after his involvement in the Copa America.
However, he is not yet ready, and might play at Swindon Town next Wednesday night.
Lukasz Fabianski will be back in pre-season training on Monday.
Meanwhile Ashley Williams, Neil Taylor, and Gylfi Sigurdsson are still to return.
Even with some key players missing, Guidolin will select a side packed with first-team experience.
Leon Britton, Jack Cork, Nathan Dyer and Andre Ayew may well start.
After the games at Rovers and Swindon, the Swans travel to Wolves next.
Finally, the Swans host Stade Rennais in their final pre-season game.
