Match Referee: KEITH STROUD.



Keith Stroud is a 47 year old Hampshire based referee of considerable experience.

He has been the referee 15 times for Bristol Rovers games with stats of 6W, 7D and 2L.

He was last in charge of a HOME BRFC match against Burton Albion on Friday 21st February 2014.

In that fixture David Clarkson and John Joe O’Toole scored the two late goals to earn the 2-0 victory.

You can expect to see some cards being shown at The Bridge on Tuesday 23rd August 2016.

In the 2012/13, the 2013/14 and the 2014/15 seasons Keith produced a yellow card in every single match.

He has sent off a player in each of his last two matches.

Diego Costa may need to show some self-control.

Chelsea have never won a game in which Keith Stroud has been the Match Referee.

(Keith Stroud has only ever been in charge of one Chelsea football fixture.

That was a Carling Cup, now EFL Cup, match against Burnley on Wednesday 12th November 2008.

After a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, Burnley won 5-4 on penalties.
