PRETTY IMPRESSIVE RECENT FORM

This hard-earned record of 23 points from their last 13 league games is the reason that resurgent Oldham Athletic have climbed up to 17th place in League ONE with 51 points.

@LeeErwin19 smashes home from close range for @OfficialOAFC v @OfficialBWFC on Easter Saturday. A great win for 10 man Oldham Atheltic.

.

During this two-month spell The Latics have kept an impressive 6 clean sheets and only conceded 11 goals.

Wins against good quality sides such as Bolton Wanderers, Oxford United, Northampton Town and Fleetwood Town have all but guaranteed them League One football next season.

The highly impressive Connor Ripley in goal and the rock hard captain Peter Clarke will be formidable obstacles on Easter Monday. Having dragged themselves out of the bottom four in the last eight weeks they are likely to prove tough opponents.

They have beaten The Cod Army 2-0 and The Trotters 1-0 in their last two matches. Keeping a clean sheet in matches against promotion chasing sides at this stage of the season is no mean feat.

Oldham Athletic manager John Sheridan celebrates being in charge for three months as The Latics beat The Trotters at OL1 2BP, (Boundary Park.)

.

John Sheridan returned for a third spell as Oldham Athletic manager in mid-January and they have been on the up ever since. He will relish the opportunity to return to Bristol’s Memorial Stadium on Easter Monday.

(During this same 13 league game spell Bristol Rovers record is W-5, D-5, L-3. There has been one less clean sheet and one extra goal conceded.)
