EFL Youth Alliance Merit League ONE.   

2016/2017 Season.

Bristol Rovers Under 18 Academy will play their last fixture of the season on Saturday 6th May 2017 when they travel to Essex to play The Shrimpers.

There was one fixture played during this week. It was played on Wednesday 3rd May 2017. The result was: Plymouth Argyle 1 v 2 Gillingham.

The fixtures in Merit League One to be played on Saturday 6th May 2017 are:

Luton Town v Leyton Orient.

Stevenage v Swindon Town. (12:00).

Newport County v Cambridge United. (13:00).

Southend United v Bristol Rovers. (13:00).

The results of the fixtures in Merit League One played on Saturday 29th April 2017 were:

Bristol Rovers 0 v 5 Swindon Town.

Cambridge United 1 v 4 Plymouth Argyle.

 Luton Town 3 v 0 Stevenage.

 Exeter City 3 v 4 Newport County. 

 Leyton Orient 3 v 2 Gillingham

The Newport County Under 18 Academy side are the winners of the Youth Alliance Merit League ONE.

They have won all five of their AWAY fixtures by the odd goal; in many cases having conceded first.

They had finished fifth in the YA South West while Bristol Rovers were Runners-Up.
