DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
Just a reminder to everyone of three popular events coming up, two of which we will be working closely with our colleagues from the Former Players Association.

QUIZ NIGHT
The Supporters Club will be hosting their next quiz night on Thursday 5th March at Begbrook Social Club, Frenchay Park Road, Bristol BS16 1HY at 7.30pm
The cost of entry is just £3.00 per person with a maximum of six quizzers in each team
So, if you fancy putting your knowledge to the test, or if you would simply like an evening out with friends, we would love to see you there
Even if you don’t win the quiz, there will be some excellent raffle prizes to be won!
BLUE DIAMOND LUNCH
Our friends at the Blue Diamond Club, which is a subsidiary group of the Former Players Association, will be hosting their next Lunch Date on Tuesday 10th March at Gloucestershire Cricket Club Pavilion at midday.
It’s one of three lunches held every year where older Rovers supporters can meet and chat about all things Rovers. It’s not restricted to just fans, though, family members and guests are always welcome.
You don’t have to be a member, either, so there’s no joining fee; all you have to do is cover the cost of the lunch, and maybe purchase a raffle ticket or three!
Guest speaker this time around is former Rovers midfielder Frankie Prince. A frequent visitor to the Memorial Stadium these days, Frankie has a fund of stories from his time as a player with The Gas and as Community Officer at Torquay United.
It’s sure to be a popular event, so for more details, please contact Mo Bell
GOLF DAY
The Former Players Association have organised their Annual Golf Day for Friday 26th June at the Kendleshire Golf Club and among the former players already booked in are; Lee Mansell, Mike England, Peter Beadle, Ian Alexander, Giuliano Grazioli, Rickie Lambert, Bob Bloomer, Bobby Gould, Martin Paul, Christian McClean, Simon Bryant, Matt Hayfield, Tom White, Andy Sandell, Paul Hardyman and Mike Davis.
So, if you and your friends would like a round of golf and include a former player in your team, please contact Mo Bell (contact details above).
The first tee time is 10.00am but arrive early to meet everyone and enjoy a coffee and a bacon roll.
Once all teams are back in the clubhouse, prizes will be handed out for the team winners, longest drive, nearest the pin, etc and then it will be time for a meal or BBQ (depending on the weather!).
