This summer, The Gas need you
Not just on matchday — but throughout the off-season too.
The Gas are back for the new pre-season Fans To 5K tournament… and after winning the last TWO Fans To 5K deliveries, the challenge is now on to make it a third consecutive title 🏆🏆
But we’ll need every Gashead involved.
Walk, jog or run — every outdoor mile you complete earns points for Rovers and helps us climb the league table against rival clubs in 10 weeks of positive Healthy Rivalry
And the best part?
It’s completely FREE for fans to take part.
⚽ What is Fans To 5K?
Fans To 5K is a fan-led fitness tournament designed to keep supporters active, connected and representing the badge during the off-season.
Every outdoor mile you record automatically converts into league points for your club, even the school run or walking the dog will count as long as you record it in Strava
Last tournament Rovers fans:
🔥 Recorded over 2,000 activities
🔥 Logged more than 6,000 miles
🔥 Completed 45 parkruns
🔥 Helped Bristol Rovers retain the title
Whether you’re completely new to exercise or already active, every fan can contribute.
📅 Key Dates
• Sign-up opens: 25th May
• Tournament starts: 8th June
• Points start counting from 8th June
• Duration: 10 weeks
📲 How To Take Part
- Download the Fans To 5K app (iOS or Android)
- Select Bristol Rovers
- Set training start date to 08/06
- Connect the app to Strava
- Record outdoor walks/runs from June 8th onwards

📏 Tournament Rules
• 1 mile = 1 point
• Outdoor walks & runs only
• Activities must be recorded directly in Strava
• Manual uploads do not count
• Max 5 points per day to keep it inclusive for all abilities
• Completing a local parkrun = 5 points
