COMMITTEE UPDATE

The most recent committee meeting of the Supporters Club discussed a number of items and it was thought that members should be made aware of those discussions.

The Supporters Club is donating a Trophy to the family of Jayden Watts to be known as the Jayden Watts Memorial Trophy and are currently finalising details with Justin, who is Jayden’s father, and the Rovers Academy as the trophy is to be presented, annually, to the U-15 Player of the Year.

It was agreed that a summary of our minutes be published on our website as soon as possible after the meeting.

It is hoped to host regular Memory Club meetings at The Mem, as from November, under the working title of Rovers Remembered.

We have agreed a sponsorship deal with the Community Trust and full details will be announced in a joint press release in the near future.

The next membership draw is due to take place shortly, the prize being hospitality for two at a future first team home game.

We are investigating the possibility of placing our logo on the back of our matchday shops so that it can be seen from different areas of the stadium.

Reports were received on Financial Matters, the Disabled Supporters Association and Supporters Club Travel.

The topic of online sales was discussed though regrettably, at present we do not have the ability to undertake such a venture.

Our retail outlets are currently very busy on matchdays and the purchase of new stock was discussed, as was a review of sales this season.

We are hoping to organise a Christmas Quiz/Entertainment night at The Mem in early December.

Our two Directors updated us on their recent meeting with Football Club CEO Richie Bates.

OUR AGM WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY 12TH NOVEMBER, AT THE MEM
