Any funny/unusual stories at Rovers?
The original Weetabix story.
Yes Mervyn, I know about the story, but it was a bit before my time!
For those of you that don’t know – It’s said that many years ago Rovers were away at Shrewsbury Town and a group of friends had made the journey together. One of them was sent to get some food for the group. Not knowing what to get for a number of people, he returned with Weetabix!
Since then, on a number of occasions, Weetabix has been sneaked into the away end at Shrewsbury and thrown up into the air when the players come out of the tunnel!
