Our friends at the Blue Diamond Club have asked if we can let you know about the lunch they are hosting on 30th March, the details of which are as follows, courtesy of secretary Mo Bell.
‘Hello everyone – SOMETHING A BIT DIFFERENT! Lunch and visit to Concorde. I don’t usually use the word ‘WOW’, but this certainly has the Wow factor.
‘Having talked to the people responsible for group visits, both Tony Mills and I were most impressed with what was offered for a proposed visit with a package including lunch, and the opportunity to sit at tables up close to this beautiful flying machine, plus the chance to take a look inside the aircraft.
In order to confirm a group visit on the date offered – Thursday 30th March – we would need to advise them by Monday 27th February with payment two weeks prior to the visit on 16th March.
The package includes:
Tour of Concorde
Hot Buffet Lunch – Traditional pork sausages served with mashed potatoes, onion gravy and seasonal veg (Vegetarian sausages optional)
Selection of juices/still/sparkling water.
Bar available – payment by card only
Cost – we estimate the cost at £28 per head, however this depends on the number in our group and provisionally based on 80 people. In other words, this price could be a little more with less people, or priced slightly less if more than 80 people.
Initially, we would welcome your responses if booking individually, couples or party bookings in order to confirm our visit if you agree with the proposal we are offering. Your responses by Friday 24th February latest so we can estimate numbers for a proposed visit.
Additional information – On the day of the visit you may upgrade your entrance ticket for annual use by paying an additional cost of £4.
