We are indebted to Steve Martell for taking the time to write to us and let us know of the passing of his Father in Law Alan Bisp.
Steve says: My father in law – Alan Bisp passed away on 11th Jan. He was 85 and his health was failing, having been admitted to hospital a number of times in the last couple of years.
He went into hospital with respiratory issues just after Christmas and very sadly caught Covid in Weston Hospital and was unable to fight it off.
He lived in Clevedon and was a very keen Gashead having been a season ticket holder, attending matches with David Bryant until his health started to deteriorate. He last came to the Mem with my son Ben and I a couple of years ago and always yearned to return.
Sadly it was not meant to be.
