Both Gas Girls sides scaled the heights on Sunday, recording impressive victories.

The first team, despite being without no fewer than eight players, defeated Downend Flyers 5-1 at Lockleaze with the goals being scored by Libby Bell, Zoe Fielden-Stewart, Annys Turner, Kelly Cutler and debutant Rhiannon D’Arcy. With joint leaders Frampton Rangers being beaten and losing their 100% record our girls moved three points clear at the top of the Northern Division of the South West Regional Women’s Football League. The two sides meet in a top of the table clash at Yate Town’s Lodge Road this Sunday at 2pm.

Our Development side recorded an impressive 4-0 victory at City of Gloucester Women in the GFA Challenge Cup with Zoe Jones hitting a hat trick and Gift Ihejieto scoring the other goal.
