Can you help with a mental health of football fans survey?

We have been contacted by Aston Munro, a postgraduate student at Edge Hill University.

Adam says:

I am a postgraduate student at Edge Hill University (Lancashire, UK) undertaking a nation-wide survey of the mental health of football fans in English professional football. The survey is intended for anyone aged 18 and above who currently lives in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland, and is a fan of a team in the top four tiers of the English professional leagues. My research is concerned with understanding the mental health of fans and how this can be best supported and promoted in the future. Responses to the survey are anonymous and the survey has been given full ethical approval by Edge Hill University.

I’m hoping to engage with fans from all clubs across England and would be very grateful if you would promote the research amongst Bristol Rovers fans via the Bristol Rovers supporters club by including the following link to the survey: https://edgehill.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/mental-health-of-football-fans-in-english-professional-foo

The survey is open until 17 June 2020 and results are intended to be published by September.

Should you have any questions about the research, please do contact me by reply email.

Thanks,

Aston
