Supporters club branches
Supporters of Bristol Rovers Football Club can be found far and wide. Although the majority of the active supporters live in the Greater Bristol region there are clusters of fans across the UK and overseas.
One way in which keen Bristol Rovers fans can keep in touch with other Gasheads is by creating a formal local branch. Sometimes these local groups or networks can then share journeys to home and/or away matches. Sometimes they can agree to sponsor a match and sometimes they can organise social or fund-raising events such as a skittles or a darts night. Funnily enough, most branch meetings seem to take place in the local hostelry of a region.
If you are interested in setting up a formal branch you could contact the supporters club who will do all they can to assist you. If you live in the area immediately around the Bristol conurbation there are already four active branches you might want to join. The activities that each branch arranges and enjoys are dependent on the interest, location and motivation of their membership.
There are branches in the Gloucester, branches in the Norton Radstock and Weston Super Mare area and one branch in the London area. The branch organisers, Dave and Ralph, have decided to move from the Double Gloster at Longlevens and move future meetings of the branch some 10 miles South. The Whitminster Inn is a stones throw away from Junction 13 on the M5 motorway. It is a convenient location for supporters who live in Stroud, Dursley, Wooton under Edge, the Severn Vale, the Cotswold escarpment and the surrounding area. We hope that all those who live in the area will consider attending and will be very welcome. You will easily recognise us!! At present has around 60 members from the surrounding area of Midsomer Norton and Radstock, including members at Paulton, Peasedown St John, Writhlington, Frome and Stoke St Michael. New members always welcome to join our very friendly branch.
Regular meetings are held at the Crown Inn at Clapton where the landlord Mike Baber, a Gashead, makes us very welcome.
We run away trips with local pick up points and have sponsored home matches in the last 2 seasons.
We sponsored the Morecambe home match on Saturday 29th March 2014.

London Gas have been meeting on a regular basis in the capital for some time. Croydon based Rovers fan Paul Davis has taken over the reins of the group.
There has been an influx of new members and the London Gas membership currently stands at 60 plus.
Besides London Gas drinks, the members organise train and cars sharing trips to home and away games.
If you live in the area and wish to join up with our members, you will be made very welcome indeed.
