Committee

Helen Wigmore
Chair
I have been on the Supporters Club committee for over 10 years. I started as Share Scheme admin, working closely with Clare at the football club. I became vice-chair to David Thomas and have been Chair since his passing in August 2023.
I am responsible for keeping Share Scheme records, and I liaise between the Supporters Club and football club, along with Keith Brookman and Clive Marshall. On a matchday, I sell 50/50 tickets in the West Stand boxes and bars
I first watched the Gas in February 1976 against Blackpool. I am a season ticket holder in the ‘Blackthorn’ end and attend most away matches. Before the covid break I attended over 500 consecutive matches home and away (yes that does make me slightly mad). 🤗

Clive Marshall
Treasurer
My father was the club photographer from the early 70s, and it was Rovers for me from an early age. I remember Brighton away 8-2 and watching it on “The Big Match” My first memory of a game at Eastville was Frankie Prince’s testimonial against City. As a young lad, I would sit next to Dad at Eastville. I fondly remember the FA Cup run in ’78 and Paul Randall’s goals.
I became a committee member in January 2023 as a membership secretary, and in July 2023, I took on the role of Treasurer. On match days I sell 50/50 tickets to my fellow West Stand season ticket holders before the game in our bar. I also catch up with members of our disability community to get feedback on the latest news on the club’s effort to promote inclusiveness. Since 2017, I have been the chair of our DSA.

Keith Brookman
Secretary
I am a lifelong Rovers supporter who, as a youngster, was taken to games by my grandfather.
I always enjoyed playing football, and so for many years, I was only able to attend midweek games. However, when I stopped playing, I returned to my watching brief and was fortunate to be given the opportunity to write in the matchday programme on a regular basis. That eventually led to a full-time job with the club, initially as programme editor and, as time went on, as media manager.
I hope that we, along with other support groups, will work closely with the club’s owners as the Memorial Stadium is redeveloped. I also trust that we can reward our members with certain privileges for joining our organisation.

Martin Hudd
Supporters Club Safety Officer
I am primarily involved in ensuring the safety of our younger Bristol Rovers supporters club members who travel to away matches on the official supporter’s club coaches.
I first began watching the rovers at Eastville in the 78/79 season. My first home game was on November 18, 1978, when we drew with Charlton Athletic 5-5 after being 4-2 down. I thought every football match involving the rovers would be like that! The first away match I attended was an evening game against Oxford United at the Old Manor ground.
On home matchday, I can normally be found loitering around the supporter’s club cabin, and I occasionally assist with selling matchday programmes and 50/50 tickets when regular sellers are unavailable.
