Bristol Rovers Community Trust were proud to support an Armed forces led event at Shirehampton Primary School that was organised as part of Armed Forces week.

The event was for Armed Forces Day which is on Saturday 24th June. We have always had strong links with the armed forces and pleased that we can work together on this event. It involved all the children at the school taking part in fun activities run by the armed forces as well as football centred sections by Bristol Rovers.

The children responded fantastically to the event where Captain Gas (the clubs mascot) was a huge hit. All the children enjoyed football and armed forces style activities is a fun and creative way to help celebrate Armed Forces Day.

Everyone who is involved in the Armed Forces do an incredible job for our country and Bristol Rovers Community Trust feel that we need to recognise their efforts by supporting these events.
