Goals from Kunle Otudeko, Mo Baghdadi, Kenan Dunwald, Alfie Kilgour, Charlie Ten-Grotenhuis and Connor Jones wrapped up the friendly win.

Rovers took the lead with 20 minutes gone after a slow opening to the game as Kunle Otudeko picked up the ball in midfield and advanced towards goal before firing past the goalkeeper from the edge of the penalty area.

Moments later Otudeko almost turned provider for Michael Kelly who looked to squeeze the ball inside the keeper at the near post but the goalkeeper made a neat save.

Chris Hargreaves side doubled their lead just five minutes later as Mo Baghdadi’s powerful free-kick left the keeper with no chance finding the top corner.

On the half-hour mark Rovers made it 3-0. A long throw from Michel Kelly found Kunle Otudeko who played the ball into the path of Kenan Dunwald who make no mistake hitting the ball through the keeper’s legs.

Rovers continued to hammer home their dominance and scored a fourth on 36 minutes.

From Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist’s corner, skipper Alfie Kilgour volleyed home as he continued his comeback from his horrific injury last season.

At the halfway mark Rovers made two changes bringing on Academy defender Josh Bailey to replace Alfie Kilgour and Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist made way for Connor Jones.

It didn’t take long for Rovers to register again on the scoresheet and with yet another different goalscorer. Charlie Ten-Grotenhuis picked up the ball deep in midfield and was allowed time and space to venture into the Kidderminster penalty area before smashing the ball past the keeper.

Moments later it was 6-0 as substitute Connor Jones got in on the scoring.

Following a neat piece of play from the Development Squad Michael Kelly found Jones unmarked inside the area who had time to check back onto his right foot and calmly slotted the ball past the helpless goalkeeper.

Rovers did look impressive for the remainder of the game with the introduction of Rhys Kavanagh caused further issues for Kiddy with his best chance a curled effort with the outside of his right boot that came crashing back off the crossbar.

Up next for Chris Hargreaves side is a return to Central League action as they travel to face Plymouth Argyle next week.
