When did you start watching Rovers?
My first game was 1985 Rovers vs Rotherham United at Eastville.
Favourite player(s) since watching Rovers?
Marcus Stewart.
Favourite Managers?
Darrell Clarke and Paul Trollope
Most memorable game(s) watching Rovers?
Rovers 5 Rotherham 2 – it was my first game and the reason I’m a Gashead.
Most memorable goal(s)?
Alfie Kilgour screamer against Blackpool, we were behind the goal in the Thatchers End, and had a great view and went nuts
Favourite away ground?
Portman Road, Ipswich. A proper ground and a proper football club.
Worst away ground?
Holker Street, Barrow. Takes for ever to get there, the weather is usually awful, and I hope we are never in the same league again.
How do you rate the season so far?
5 out of 10. BUT that is mainly because of the time before Steve Evans took over, it’s been much, MUCH better since he took over.
How do I see the season planning out?
I believe that we will be safe with about four games to go, another disappointing season but I’m confident of a brighter future if Steve Evans stays and rebuilds the club.
Any funny/unusual stories at Rovers?
I missed the 2007 play off final as my son Matthew was born the night before the match, the little bugger was 2 weeks early!
We did however get home in time to watch it on TV. So, his first match as a Gashead was us both watching Rovers win the play offs and he was less than a day old!
