Tonight’s SkyBet League One fixture against Wigan Athletic has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at the Memorial Stadium.
The decision was taken by the match referee, who carried out a pitch inspection at the Mem at around 12pm today.
The playing surface at the Memorial Stadium was covered following Saturday’s home fixture against Scunthorpe, but the persistent sub-zero temperatures meant that the pitch would have frozen once the covers had been removed, with the decision taken with the safety of players and spectators in mind.
Tickets for the rearranged date will remain valid, with a new date expected for the fixture in the near future.
Supporters who are unable to make the rearranged date are entitled to a full refund.
