With our Gas Girls first team not having a fixture last Sunday the spotlight turned to our Development side who didn’t disappoint, recording a crushing 7-2 victory over Dursley Town Ladies in a game played at Lockleaze Sports Centre.
Zoe Fielden-Stewart led the way scoring her first hat-trick for the Gas with Tamsin Shipley striking her first two goals for the club. Goals from Rosie Hall and Zoe Jones completed the scoring.
Rosie Hall picked up our Player of the Match on a day where there a lot of contenders.
Both sides are in action this Sunday with our first team making the journey to Gloucester to take on Abbeymead Rovers Ladies whilst our Development side meet Cheltenham Civil Service Ladies at Lockleaze Sports Centre. Both games kick-off at 2pm.
