Bristol Rovers Women’s FC submitted an application for promotion to be considered back in January 2021.
The ‘Gas Girls’ clinched the Gloucestershire County Women’s Football League title last April after an unbeaten run which spanned over two seasons.
Gas Girls Club Secretary, Matthew Davies, said “We’re delighted to receive confirmation from the FA that our promotion application has been successful. Firstly, we’d like to thank the committee at the Gloucestershire County Women’s Football League who have been incredibly helpful over the last two years. We’d like to thank the FA Panel for considering and approving our application over the last few Months. This success is a testament to the incredible effort that all of our players and volunteer staff have contributed throughout the season. We’re really looking forward to working with the team at the South West Regional Women’s Football League next season.”
