JOB VACANCY IN THE BRISTOL ROVERS COMMUNITY TRUST 

Bristol Rovers Community Trust is seeking to employ a dynamic individual to provide high quality teaching and management for the Trusts rapidly expanding education department.

The candidate will provide high quality teaching and learning for vocational courses including BTEC Level 3 sports programmes, primarily working on the Post 16 Futsal Scholarship Programme.

The role will require delivery on both the education and practical side of the course and will include regular liaison with parents and carers of the students as well as working with other relevant departments within Bristol Rovers Football Club.

The post holder will have overall responsibility for the management of all the education departments’ programmes. This will include development of new innovative education programmes, recruitment of future students and attendance at meetings set up with partner organisations related to the scholarship programme.

In addition to this the Head of Education will also line manage the coaching team and co-ordinate the weekly Futsal games programme.

There is also a requirement for the Head of Education to have either qualified teaching status, be working towards this accreditation or be qualified to degree level in a sport related theme with relevant teaching experience.
