Welcome all to another vital match in this season’s fantastic twelve-team League 1 relegation battle. It can never have been so close as it is today with any four out of a dozen or so clubs still in danger of the big drop.

Last Sunday I suppose we got a bit lucky at the Ricoh Stadium after most of the results had gone our way and Rovers did not perform at their best despite a brilliant away following of over two thousand ‘Gasheads’ who roared the lads on to what was probably a vital point. We did not get much going as an attacking force but the back five were simply brilliant throughout and none of them deserved to be on the losing side. The performances on the road since Graham Coughlan took over as Manager, with just one exception when we gambled and lost on an attacking formation at Doncaster, have been excellent and the lads have proved extremely hard to beat.

It is here at the ‘Mem’ where Rovers season has been so poor with only four home wins to date surely being a dismal record. So, whilst our opponents today are in an even bigger mess, Bradford will fighting for their survival and will again prove tough to beat I’m sure. Get behind the boys in blue and let’s get three more vital points on the board this afternoon!
