Bristol Rovers Supporters Club sponsored Development Squad pair Alfie Kilgour and Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist have both today extended their respective loans by an extra month.

Alfie has been with Maidenhead United since the beginning of November and has since made four appearances for the National League side.

The defender was thrown in at the deep end for his debut and was on the wrong end of 4-0 beating in the FA Cup at the hands of League One leaders Portsmouth.

Following that he has appeared in Maidenhead’s last three National League fixtures, picking up his first win with the side in a 1-0 victory away to Sutton United.

Lewis went out on loan at a similar time to Alfie and linked up with National League South outfit Truro City and has appeared in all four of their games since his arrival.

In his second appearance for the White Tigers, he made quite the impact as he popped up with an 86th-minute winner at home to Dulwich Hamlet, with the game finishing 3-2.

Under-18s midfielder Tom Mehew has also gone out on a work experience loan, to Frome Town.

Everyone at the club wishes them further success whilst they are on loan at their respective sides.
