In regards to Saturday’s SkyBet League One fixture, the Club has received the following statement from MK Dons.
‘The Football Club remains confident that Saturday’s Sky Bet League One fixture with Bristol Rovers will go ahead as planned, given the current state at Stadium MK and having monitored the weather forecast for the next 48 hours.
The pitch Stadium MK is currently playable, with the undersoil heating having been on since Tuesday – the pitch temperature is currently sitting at 5oc despite outside temperatures dropping below freezing.
Another factor that the Club has to take into consideration is the safety of supporters. The Club has a full gritting programme in place for the car parks and outer-walkways as well as the aisles and concourse inside Stadium MK.
Still, it goes without saying that supporters attending the game on Saturday are advised to wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
