When Gary Penrice scored Rovers’ third goal against Carlisle United, on 23rd August 1997, at the Memorial Stadium he became the only player to have scored for the club on all four grounds on which Rovers have played “home” games

He scored for the first time at Eastville against York City in May 1985, fired another against Swindon Town at Ashton Gate over Easter 1987 and added goals in four consecutive seasons at Twerton Park.
